Due to our growth in the provision of training and advisory services, SGI Aviation is looking for enthusiastic, high-caliber and dynamic instructors and advisors with experience in state regulatory oversight (NAA), aviation consultancy, aircraft leasing, airline operations, or aircraft continuing airworthiness management that will actively support the expansion of SGI Aviation. Candidates will either be considered for full-time or contract employment.
SGI Aviation wishes to recruit staff with a dedicated expertise in any of the following domains: Aircraft Operations, SAFA and Aircraft Continuing Airworthiness.
Job description
Provide training courses:
- Carry out training and implementation services to NAA’s, lessors, airlines and approved organizations on, EU/EASA regulations, SAFA topics, EU Community List and other regulatory topics
- Develop and update training courses
- Develop and implement an E-learning system
Carry out consultancy and advisory assignments:
- Advise industry clients on changes in applicable regulations and provide assistance with implementation
- Assist NAA’s with the implementation of a foreign operator safety oversight program
- Advise NAA’s on regulations implementation and compliance
- Support airlines regarding the reported SAFA inspection safety findings and deficiencies, review the airlines’ procedures and advise on an effective and comprehensive corrective action plan
- Guide airline Start-Ups, budding Maintenance Repair Organizations (MRO), Design Organizations and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organizations (CAMO) through the regulatory approval process
- Support to implement, enhance or maintain an effective Quality System in a client’s organization and develop a comprehensive Quality Audit Plan
- Perform organizational audits assessing contractual or regulatory compliance and identification of safety risks.
Technical management:
- Provide interim technical management as dedicated post holder for our clients
Active (after) sales involvement:
- Follow-up on new and existing leads
- Business development
IT services:
- Database development and implementation
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in the fields of SAFA, Aircraft Operations or Airworthiness
- Minimum HBO (bachelor) level
- Thorough understanding of Aviation Regulations with experience in NAA roles and responsibilities
- Co-operation with the EC, EASA or NAA’s
- Experience with the provision of training services as an instructor and of consultancy services
- International commercial outlook and extensive network
Qualities:
- You are innovative, analytical and creative.
- You have excellent English verbal and written language skills. Additional language proficiency is a plus
- You are a committed team worker with a self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
- You have excellent interpersonal, communication and educational skills
- You have affinity with IT (such as database development)
