Engine Technical Manager

SGI Aviationseeks Engine Technical Managers for their Amsterdam bases. These powerplant engineers should have extensive engine management, physical and documentation knowledge. They will be part of SGI Aviation and will support customers globally on all the aspects of engine management.

Candidates should have:

  • Capability of performing Engine physical inspections e.g. borescope inspection reviews, engine general visual inspections and engine test reviews (in shop or on wing)
  • Capability of performing Engine documentation review e.g. AD status, SB status, LLP status including full Back to birth history, trend data analysis, shop visit report analysis, invoice control,
  • Familiarity with engine leasing and maintenance contracts,
  • Knowledge on engine workscope development and engine repair in engine shop environment
  • Familiarity with engine workscoping, dirty table inspections and scrap reviews

A background in an airline or engine repair facility with an engine management role is preferable.
