SAFA and Blacklist Awareness Course
Course content
The overall objective of the training course is to present the EC SAFA (Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft) program to the airline industry. This includes explaining the EC Community List process (so-called 'blacklist') and identifying the potential implication for the airline industry.
Particular emphasis is placed upon: key actors, methodology of inspection, data analysis, working methods, regulatory framework, lines of communication and right of defence. The course shall include detailed explainations of'

Prerequisites:
A basic understanding of the SAFA inspection program would be advantageous. During the training course all SAFA and Blacklist elements are addressed in detail.
