Fleet Management

Using SGI’s unique tracking system, our team will manage aero engines on behalf of operators/owners. SGI monitors and verifies compliance with all applicable obligations under a lease. The main benefit for clients is to have a constant and complete overview of the engine fleet, condition and costs, allowing lessors to optimise cash flow and minimise exposure.

Service packages are tailored to individual clients. The following is an overview of services provided by SGI Aviation:

• Review of a fleet’s technical documentation and loading into SGI’s tracking system
• Monthly updating of fleet status with operator’s utilisation
• Review of engine leasing contract requirements
• Shop Visit forecasting, including predicted workscope and estimated costs
• Engine shop contract negotiation and selection (as required)
• Engine on-wing issues resolution
• Engine asset management
• Periodic reporting and review of engine removal planning and cash flow forecasting
• Tracking and regular reporting on engine trend analysis, Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Alert Service Bulletins (SB) review and engine technical inspections as required (pre-purchase, mid-lease and re-delivery)
• Engine Shop Visit management
• Maintenance reserve analysis
