SGI Aviation awarded EASA, Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation(CAMO) approval (Part M, Subpart G & I)
SGI Aviation is pleased announce that they have been awarded European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval as aContinuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in accordance with EASA Part M, Subpart G & I requirements by the Irish Aviation Authority.

SGI Aviation wins major training contract from EASA
SGI Aviation, leading independent advisors to the airline and aviation industry, has won a major framework contract from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to deliver academic and ‘hands-on’ training courses on the Agency’s behalf covering safety and environmental rules.

SGI preformed a SAFA On-the-Job trainin in Riga, Latvia
A SAFA (Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft) On-the-Job training (OJT) took place in Riga, Latvia in October 2009. In accordance with the EASA Guidance Material (GM) requirements related to SAFA OJT, the trainees observed a minimum of 6 SAFA Ramp Checks performed by the SGI Advisory senior SAFA inspector.

SGI accepted as official SAFA Training Organization
SGI recently became accepted as an EC 'Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft' (SAFA) Third Party Training Organisation (STO). The organisation was successfully assessed by ENAC of Italy, RCAA of Romania and the LBA of Germany.

SGI's Aviation English and Communication Skills Training Course in Poland
The inaugural ‘Aviation English and Communication Skills Training Course’ was given by SGI Advisory in Poland. Run from the 9th to 13th February, the participants were SAFA Inspectors from the Polish National Aviation Authority (CAO-Poland).
