SGI Aviation sells one CFM56-7B engine on behalf of BOT Lease

SGI Aviation has arranged the sale of an CFM56-7B engine to an UK aftermarket and service solution provider. The Dutch company says it concluded the sale and delivery of the engine on behalf of Japan’s, BOT Lease.

The transaction is described by SGI Aviation Chief Executive Officer Paolo Lironi as follow: “I wanted to thank BOT Lease for the opportunity to sell the engine on their behalf. We have certainly maximized the return on their investment and exceeded their expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity for the new owner to deploy one of the most fuel-efficient and desired engines on lease to one of their leasing customers.”

BOT Lease Co., Ltd is a Tokyo based leasing company of MUFG group.  The company participates in operating lease transactions as lender not only JOL/JOLCO transactions and have also been involved in more than ten spare engine leasing transactions as lessor and lender for the past decade.

SGI Aviation manages a fleet of about 60 aircraft and engines and has ventured successfully in the remarketing of aircraft and engines for her customers and 3rd parties, amongst others, it negotiated a five-year lease extension on a Boeing 777-300ER and sold an Airbus A330-300, for the coming period SGI Aviation also expects to have updates on multiple transactions involving five 777-300ERs.
