VP Technical - Engines

Danilo Colombo joined the SGI Aviation Engines Team in 2012 as a Technical Manager and is responsible for a number of major engine and APU programs, especially focussing on SVs Management,  Deliveries,  Redeliveries  and Acquisitions  tasks. Prior to joining SGI Aviation, Mr. Colombo  was  the  CAMO  Power  Plant  Manager  at  Niki  Luhftfahrt  and at  Livingston  Airlines managing all the technical and commercial aspects related to aircraft engines, APUs and Nacelle.

He was also involved in Engines and APU Maintenance Contracts definition  and optimization, A/C Phase In – Phase Out documentation analysis and preparation, Lease agreements analysis, definition and discussions, engines overhaul campaign strategic plans and management.  During these years he gained a lot of experience  in the field being many times on site during both on-wing  and off-wing  APU,  nacelles  and engines  issues.  He is also  specialized  on APU  models GTCP331-350, 131-9, APS3200, APS2300.

Mr. Colombo holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
